Private Lessons at the Portsmouth Studio (or Online)
As an instructor, Tim provides a relaxed, joyful environment that encourages feelings of fun and accomplishment through musical study. Students are encouraged to play with other musicians and perform regularly so that they can experience connection and community through music.
Tim is comfortable working with adults and kids of all ages, having been a coach of cross country and track for over ten years at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Lessons are available for guitar, banjo, and vocals. To inquire about lessons, contact Tim.
Mission Statement
For Tim, creating music is all about connections between people: connection between the musicians playing together, connections between the musicians and the listeners, and connections between the listeners experiencing music together. Both in times of tragedy or great joy, music helps to bring people together by finding the common emotional connections between all of us.
